heart by heart

Si acum pentru ca surpriza deja a fost primita si nu mai este un secret, pot sa va arat ce am lucrat in ultima saptamina.
Un quilt ,din inima, pentru prietena noastra Mariana care a suferit o mare pierdere. Fiecare prietena a Marianei , membre ale Asociatiei Romane de Patchwork - ARP - a facut o inimioara crazy, iar eu am asamblat si finalizat lucrarea. Au pus bucatica din inima lor urmatoarele , in ordinea de pe quilt : Rapeanu Dodi, Dora Deme, Daniela Gugurel, Smaranda Bourgery, Elena Chipara, eu, Adina Popescu ( initiatoarea proiectului), Ela Ghioc, Betty Popescu, Smaranda Popescu si Julieta Mirea.Din cauza serviciilor proaste ale Postei Romane nu au mai ajuns la mine inimioarele Mariei Bornikoel si a Carminei Plosceanu, dar evident ca "bat" si ele alaturi de celelalte din quilt.

And now, because the surprise is already received by the recipient and it's no longer a secret, I can show you on what I've been working in the last week. A heart, and from heart, quilt for our friend Mariana who suffered a great lost in her life. Every friend of Mariana, members of Romanian Association of Patchwork - ARP - done a crazy heart and I asembled and finish the whole quilt.
The followings put a tiny part of their hearts in this quilt, in the order from it :
Rapeanu Dodi, Dora Deme, Daniela Gugurel, Smaranda Bourgery, Elena Chipara, eu, Adina Popescu ( the head of the project ), Ela Ghioc, Betty Popescu, Smaranda Popescu si Julieta Mirea. Because of the mistakes in services of the Romanian Post I never received the hearts from Maria Bornikoel and Carmina Plosceanu, but they are still "beating" along the others...

Detaliu...trebuie sa recunosc ca am fost mirata, primind inimioarele pe rind, prin posta, de cit simt artistic si finete exista in mica lucrare a fiecaruia...detalii pe care doar in fata quiltului le poti evalua si "simti" cu adevarat.

Detail ...I must recognise that I was each time surprised, receiving one by one the hearts by mail, of how much artistic and fine work stays in each small piece of the hearts....details that only in front of the quilt you can evaluate and "feel" ...

Am asteptat, noi toate, reactia Marianei...care a venit repede, calda, cu lacrimi si cu recunostinta.
Telul nostru a fost atins ;))...
We, all, waited Mariana's reaction...which came quickly, with warm words, tears and gratefull.
Our target was fully touched.:))

How stupid someone could be ??

Cit de prost poate sa fie omul citeodata ?? Foaaarte...va spun eu! poftim ce s-a-ntimplat: pe cind imi mergea si mie bine totul,poate prea bine ca sa fie adevarat, si cind cu mult curaj am hotarit sa schimb bindingul la quiltul crazy cu o bentita argintie, ma pomenesc ca am taiat ca netoata din fundita respectiva, cu citeva zile inainte, fara sa-mi dau seama de dezastrul ce va urma...asa ca acu' stau in pom...nu pentru mult timp, doar ma cunoasteti...ceva tot fac eu...;))

How stupid can someone be ?? VERY, I told you! here is what happened : when everything seems to be to perfect to be true, when with all my courage I decided to change the binding at my crazy quilt with a silver ribbon, I found myself in a very stupid moment when I realized that, severeal days before I cut from THIS ribbon instead of other, without knowing the following disaster... so , now, I'm sitting up in the nowhere...but not for long, you know me ;))

Ceva vechi-ceva nou...;))

Intii ceva vechi. Quiltul meu crazy, alb-crem , care pe zi ce trece se apropie de final...cind va fi acesta? nu stiu, poate cind nu mai am margelutze sau fire albe LOL.

Something old first ...my white/cream crazy quilt that day by day comes to finish...when exactly will be this ? I just don't know...perhaps when I'll remain out of beads or white threads LOL. I just can't "catch" it properly in the picture, it so shiny...perhaps it's name will be "Moonshine garden" , how is that ?

Imi place la nebunie snurul I-cord, nu ma pot opri din impletirea lui...de data aceasta am combinat doua culori intr-un singur snur care poate lua forma de bratara ca mai jos :

I'm in love with the I-cord, I just can't stop myself from make it...this time I combined two colours in one cord, the result can be worn ( or wear?) as a bracelet like in the following picture:

La juxtapunerea celor doua culori am atasat doua floricele minuscule .

or as a necklace as here:

where the two colours met each other I attached two tiny red flowers.

Apoi au urmat citeva bratari : una verde deschis, la care inchiderea se face cu margelutze de sticla verde...(evident, nu ? ;)) )

then some bracelets ( or armbands because they are quite wide) : one on pale green with the closure made of two glass green beads

si una pe negru pentru ca se pare ca orice am face aceasta culoare ( ori aceasta iluzie optica?) este preferinta nr 1 in garderoba oricui...

and one in black , because it seems that this colour ( or this optical illusion?) is the favourite in anybody's wardrobe.

Deseara iesim la resturant cu musafiri din Suedia...poate ma intorc cu poze...evident cu poze cu natura nicidecum cu poze cu mine, nu ? :)))

Tonight we are going out at a resturant with some guest from Sweden...perhaps I'll come back with some pictures...obviously nature pictures, not with me, no ? :)))

O dimineata parfumata...timp frumos..pasarele care cinta...inca in pijama sar in cizmele de gradina si pornesc in hoinareala...

A parfumed and sunny morning...singing birds...still in my PJ's I'm on my boots and go for a slow garden walk...

un alt trandafir...sfios...ca o fetita pe linga pijamaua mamei :)) sa nu ma intrebati cum am facut poza : cu capul in jos ;)) Goldie nu se lasa pozata din fata pentru nimic in lume....oare nu-i place de nasul ei ?
another "rose"...shy...as a girl near mama's PJ's...:)) don't ask me how I take that photo: upside-down because Goldie doesn't let me to make her a front photo..perhaps she doesn't like her nose...rose-nose...( yet in this picture it appear as black )

My walk take me under the cherry-tree ( can you see how many, big, riped and tasty cherries are on the branches??;))) obviously I take a small fruit adittion to my breakfast

apoi roata, pe linga pavilion unde lupin-ul face pereche buna cu o urzica cit mine de mare...este atit de sanatoasa si de frumoasa incit oricit o fi ea de buruiana nu o scot si pace! atita timp cit nu ma urzic, pentru mine este...planta medicinala . ha-ha!
then came round, by the pergola, where the lupin make a good pair with a... stinging nettle, tall as I am...it is so healthy and beautifull that as much as a weed it is, I can't pull it out! as long as I didn't sting on it, for me it's just a ...medicinal herb . LOL.

And the real reason for my early walk : the very first flower of Gloria Dei, white, graceful, perfumed.

Hmmm... aici nu pot da explicatii ...banuiesc ca se intelege ca e dragoste mare la mijloc, nu ?
Hmm.. well, here I can't give any explanation...I guess it's understandable: big love between them...;))

back to home, I stopped in the vegetable garden ( hidden behind the hazels) and pick all the curly mint for tea.
si plimbarea de dimineata s-a sfirsit ...cu munca. Pentru restul zilei...
And the morning walk did finish with some...work. For the rest of the day.

Si iata  un quilt crazy personal...acesta este al meu,alb-argintiu- in faza de inceput. Mai ramine sa il infrumusetez si apoi sa il montez...va dura ceva timp...

And now, a one-colour crazy quilt...this is mine,white-silver, at an early stage. Still have to embellish and after that to top it....it will take some time to finish it....

the 1st of March... for my love

Cum era un UFO ( obiect neterminat) prin atelierul meu ( si nu-i statea bine deloc in stadiul acela) am terminat o inimioara movulie pentru dragostea mea...pe post de martisor! A fost impresionat...mai ales ca nu am folosit "tzintzele" ( margele, in termen popular de-al locului). degeaba i-am explicat eu ca tocmai "tzintzelele" dau farmec ...deh, optica masculina!;0)

As I had an UFO ( UnFinished Object) in my sewing-room ( and wasn't pretty at all in that stade) I did finished a mauve crazy-heart, for my love...as a Martzichor! He was quite impressed...above all because I didn't use "tzintzele" ( beads, in a very local-popular way of speaking). Anywise I did explain that the beads give the charm for a crazy heart, wasn't good enough....well...male point of wiew! ;)

edit in 2015 : this heart is still here, in my studio, hanging on my soft work-board... this means I do love it deeply ! I remember several people asking it as a gift... it is still here with me.:D . After 8 years is looking as good and nice as in her first day of life. Question : does it mean that, somewhere deeply in my heart, crazy quilting is a favourite ? :)
