As you can see, card making is challenging. And beautiful. And addictive :D . But that last one I said before this, and before that and you all already knew that, isn't it ? LOL
So , another birthday card . Just pure and simple .

 I'm longing for spring obvious the presence of ladybugs . No antiquing this time, just simple.

oh, well....

Well, I know-I know, I'm late again .....but what to do when life is so busy ?
My scrapbooking mania didn't left me.At all.  LOL. As my dearest one celebrated his birthday a few days ago, I made one card for him, too. ;).
I like the " less is more" style, as you can see....

And it has a little secret pocket inside, showing celebrations number.

 He's my handsome grey-hair guy and I love him totally.

And as outside is more winter than spring, not taking in count what calendar says, I bring inside some branches that finally did flourished. But they are totally white instead of deep pink...and no smell at all. Still : at least a feast for the eyes. A mini  inside "fake" spring ;).

This changing weather gives me headaches... so , one more coffee and I'm ready to go on further.

a friend's birthday card

What can I say : scrapbooking IS addictive. :D. Yep. Very.
I can't stop myself  from cutting, gluing, embellishing....I'm hooked. For ever ? ;)

 I made it especially for my friend : Mary. So : Happy Birthday ! :)

Love Day

As one of my friends says : there's no need for a special day to celebrate love ...it must be permanent.
Still, absorbed in this huge flow of Valentines here and there , I made my own ...proofs. Several days ago .  They were kept hidden until today at 00 a.m. Yep, an early hour for showing off my love to my LOVE. :))

First of all I did my very first scrapbooking card , of which I'm very proud . With low materials and tools stash, still I think it's pretty.

Scrapbooking is the ultimate hobby that I like.... I'm dreaming, I'm learning, I'm craving and I'm hoping that I can make it at some level, too . I'm just quite horrified of how much investment means a new hobby now. Papers,cardboards, tools, embellishments, stamps, a lot of small things that costs sooo much. But nobody hurries me, no ? and a girl must have some personal pleasures, ain't it ?  ;) :D
Ok.

As I do have one big heart punch ( 7cm ) I imagine, for today,  the house dressed in ...hearts. Imagination doesn't means always practicality so....the conclusion : too much for me ( I'm quite simple, but romantic ) so I make just one. On a stick. Double -faced. It was our company for this morning breakfast. A lot of smiles during this breakfast, you know ;)

And now stop with scrapbooking. Let's go back to decoupage. Yep, the one before last liked hobby :D
I learned a new technique so I thought ( do you see how often do I think ? :D ) that something good must result from practicing.
Of course a heart. What else ? :D
All dressed up in silk paper, embellished with glass beads, a central rice-paper panel and a handmade weaved cord for hanging. 18 cm each way.

Glad to meet you , again, in 2013.
I know , my last post was somewhere very long time ago....well, this is life.
As I said then, I was out of order for a period of time due to a pear, but this went off and life goes on....And I still love pears LOL. ( but these are from the garden and they are after dehydrated ;) )

Meanwhile I was still enjoying my garden , crops and preserves :

preparing for winter ( woods for heating ) : 

and still collecting bears. Soft, small, hugging bears. 

Also , I was traveling through Austria with my love : 

 

And still, all this time I did work a lot....handmade, I mean .
I was generally crocheting ( jewelry )

and learning/making some decoupage ( a new passion ) :

In ultimele zile nu m-am simtit prea bine...cu sanatatea, ma refer . Totul a pornit de aici : (de la pere, nu de la flori )

Last days I wasn't feeling too well... in health, meaning. Everything started from here : (from the pears, not from the flowers ) 

fructe import care pot sa ascunda tot felul de minunatii  ....si uite asa , dupa citeva zile de suferinta si leacuri babesti - total nefolositoare - am ajuns inevitabil aici  :

imported fruits that can hide inside all kind of stuff....this is how after some days of suffering I ended here : 

Nu sunt genul care sa stea in pat de drag....asa ca intr-un moment de vitejie sperind ca ma pot controla ( :)) ) , mi-am luat inima in dinti si am pornit intr-o mica plimbare in gradina....

I don't like to stay in bed, not even by sickness...so, very brave and hopefully that I can manage myself ( :)) ) I take a walk through the garden ...

totul este verde si plin de seva...aproape simti cum natura freamata, cu bucurie, sub razele soarelui....

everything is green and beautiful ...one can almost feel the nature thrilling under the sun....

Incet m-am apropiat de mica mea gradina....citeva straturi inaltate in care, an dupa an, gasesc bucurie si tristete deopotriva. Bucurie pentru rezultatele gustoase, aromate si tristete pentru esecurile inevitabile ale oricarui gradinar. 

Slowly I aproached my little garden....a few raised garden beds where, year after year I found both happiness and sadness . Happiness for those tasty flavoured results and sadness for those inevitable failures that each gardener is faced by. 

Ei bine, se pare ca natura merge frumusel  inainte chiar si fara bagheta mea magica ;)....

Well, it seems that nature is pretty going on even without my magic wand ;)...

M-am simtit brusc obosita si am simtit acut lipsa comfortabila a ....patului ...haha ! inapoi spre casa...

I suddenly feel tired and need desperately the comfort of my...bed. haha!....Going back...

O ultima privire inapoi, : liniste, cite un ciripit tirziu de pasare, M. care tunde iarba in continuare, umbrele care devin din ce in ce mai lungi , mai reci ....

A last look : silence, a single and late bird chirp, M. who is still mowing the lawn, the trees shadows becoming longer and cooler....

Si totusi : ADOR PERELE . Moi, dulci, zemoase, aurii....Trebuie sa-mi amintesc ca pe viitor sa decojesc orice fruct import ce il maninc. Obligatoriu ! prea multe chimicale...

And still : I LOVE PEARS. Soft, sweet, juicy golden pears....I must remember for the future to skin off all the imported fruits that I eat. It's a must ! too many chemicals....
