In ultimul timp nu am fost cuminte, m-am dat serios la ciocolata. Sub toate formele : tableta, bomboane, crema....atit de serios incit am transpuns mica mea dragoste subita in :

"Valuri de ciocolata" ....

un alt sal din voal, cu aceleasi 7 benzi plisate pe toata lungimea lui de 2,0m .

Lately I'm not at all a good girl , I got seriously into chocolate. Any shape : tablet, candy, cream ....so seriously that I transposed my little suddenly love into : 

"Chocolate waves "...

another veil shawl, with the same 7 pleated strips along the lenght . 

Chocolate -...brown. Simple as that . :D

Luna trecuta am participat la un concurs pe forumul Hobby-handmade  cu aceste doua quilturi miniatura . 

Last month I participate in another contest in the Hobby -handmade forum, with these two miniatures quilts.

and I won the third place receiving these wonderful pieces worked by GabyErika . The chocolate has not come in the picture :D

Un cadou surpriza din partea sotului meu este aceasta virtelnita, cu o virsta impresionanta de peste 100 ani, virtelnita pe care a lucrat strabunica lui . Mi-a devenit automat foarte draga ....trebuie sa ii fac o baie sanatoasa si sa o pun la lucru....poarta in ea urma anilor multi si a micilor reparatii ...poate o sa-mi spuna o poveste , incet, invirtindu-se....
An unexpected gift form my husband is this thread reel , with an resonable age over 100 years. A reel that belonged to his great-grandmother. Instantly it become very dear to me. I must give it a big scrub and then put it to work....it carries the mark of so many years and of small repairs...maybe it will tell me a story, slowly, spinning....

Acum , de cind cu frigul si cu raceala mea, am nevoie de mincare "de comfort" : o jumatate de pui la cuptor acompaniat de cartofi copti cu mujdei de usturoi....si un pahar de vin alb ;) Chiar comfortabil, nu ? ;)
Now since this cold weather and my cold condition, I need some "comfort" food  : a half of a green farm-chicken grilled on the oven and some baked potatoes with garlic sauce. And a white wine glass ;). Quite comfortable, ha ? ;)

si evident nevoia de un desert la fel de "comfort " ( putina practica inainte de Craciun nu strica niciodata, nu ? ) unde mai pui ca e primul meu cozonac copt in soba cu lemne -de aceea e mai ars :))
and obviously the need of a same "comfort" desert ( a little practice before Christmas doesn't hurt anyone,no ? ) and the important fact is that I bake this roll-cake for the first time in my wood stove...that's why is a little burnt :))

but the taste is wonderful ....with walnuts and raisins...

Sunt convinsa ca va arata minunat pe semineul meu . Si apoi nu e niciodata prea repede sa te pregatesti de Craciun, nu-i asa ? :D
I'm absolutely sure that it will look marvelous over my fireplace, too. And I think it's never too early to prepare for Christmas, isnt' it ? :D

Ei bine, ieri am primit primul block, asa ca mi-am pregatit toate cele necesare

Well, yesterday I received the first block instructions so I gathered all I need to start

apoi am transferat modelul pe o bucata de pinza alba 

then I transferred the model on a piece of white muslin 

apoi am asezat pinza pe o bucata de vatelina identica ca dimensiuni cu pinza alba 

then I make the sandwich with wadding

si am inceput sa cos cu mare placere.... 

Mi-am amintit de un Craciun trecut cind dragii mei au primit astea : 

and started to embroider so happilly...

Astazi dimineata primul meu bloc arata asa ( inca neterminat ) ...va fi o frumusete . Deja sunt nerabdatoare pentru vinerea viitoare cind blocul nr. 2 va fi afisat.

Si acum despre toamna si despre recoltele ei bogate....aici aveti doar o mica parte din bunatatile din aceasta toamna....asa ca sa le cuprind pe toate

And now something about autumn and her rich crops...here you can see only a small part of them, just to show a part of each

unele nuci trebuie decojite 

some nuts have to be peeled

 adica cu un cutit se face o crestatura in coaja verde si cu o miscare scurta laterala se afla daca e coapta sau nu 

which means that with a small knife you make a slit on the green cover and with a short lateral move you can tell if it's ripe or not

aceasta este coapta , se desface usor si iese o nuca curata, alba...

this is ripe and you get a white, clean nut...

altele sunt deja crapate la momentul culesului , se desfac usor si ies nuci care trebuie spalate

others are already cracked at picking time and you get out some nuts that need some washing

si altele care nu vor nicicum sa se desfaca....

and some that are not ready yet for peeling 

dar acestea au un miez care este ATIT de bun de mincat crud, depielitat....miez de nuci verzi ;), asa : 

but these have such a good core for eating ...green walnuts. Like so : 

Este deja toamna....sunt atit de bucuroasa, pentru ca IUBESC toamna. Voi ?

Ei bine, veste mare : s-a nascut un nou blog .

Well, today I found out a big news : a NEW blog was born.

Profesionist ! 9 talente s-au unit intr-un singur loc si au pus lumea pe foc : fiecare dintre  membre ofera un give-away ( cadou) cu conditia sa respectati cele 3 puncte cerute de ele . Merita sa le faceti o vizita ! si de ce nu ? sa va inscrieti la cadouri pina pe data de 30 septembrie. Hai, fuga ! :))

Very professionally! 9 talented wemen joined together in a blog and put the world on fire : each of them is having a give-away, untill 30 of September, with the condition to complete the 3 steps required .
It worth to make a visit first on the main blog then on each artist's blog... and why not ? to fill in for those magnificent give-aways. Comme-on, hurry ! :))

Si pentru ca tot ce am vazut azi pe blogurile mentionate mai sus, mi-a stirnit pofta de broderie, iata ce s-a "intimplat " in atelierul meu :

And because of all that I see in those before mentioned blogs awake in me the desire for some stitcheries, this is what "happened" in my studio today :

 ....trebuie sa recunosc ca sunt cam departe de maiestria celor vazute...dar practica nu strica niciodata, nu-i asa ?

...I must admit that I'm far away from what artistic stitcheries I saw today...but you know that practice doesn't hurt anyone, isn't ? LOL.

Si uite asa, cineva se va bucura miine de un cadou nou....ce frumos e sa faci cadouri !

And like this, someone will be very happy tomorrow with a new gift....how nice is to make gifts to people !

Intii de toate s-a nascut o albinuta ginditoare si poznasa...care nu intzeapa pentru ca e prea dragalasa...:)

First of all was born a thoughtfull and naughty baby-bee...and she doesn't sting because she's too cute...:)


Apoi cineva s-a indragostit de ea si a mai cerut sa aiba o surioara...si asa a aparut albinuta harnica, pusa pe pozne cu bagheta ei fermecata, aurie...nici ea nu intzeapa. ;)

Then somebody felt in love with her and ask for a likely sister...and like so appear the always working and also naughty baby-bee, hoping forever to touch something with her golden wand...she doesn't sting , too...;)

Miine pleaca spre alte zari, spre alte locuri...peste munti, peste dealuri si vai....bzzzz...

Tomorrow they are both flying away....over the mountains, over hills and rivers...bzzzz...

surprises in mail and some butterflies

Am primit azi de la Katy coletul cu lucrarile pentru Luberon .

Iar inauntru am gasit citeva surprize frumoase :

- un port-servetzele, in care mi-am strecurat repede si "bomboanele" pentru git, deci va avea dubla utilizare ;).

Dupa cum spune si ea , piesa aceasta este mai mult origami decit patchwork, are doar doua cusaturi, va vine sa credeti ?

Today I received from Katy her package with works that will be exhibited at Luberon.

And , the nice story beggins here : inside I found some surprises for me :) - a hadkerchief cover, where I also slipped my throat medecins, so it will have a double functionality.

As she says, this piece is more "fabric origami" then patchwork, it has only two seams!! can you believe it ? it is so nice, I have cows and chickens on it :)

Apoi am mai gasit un outz de Paste, simpatic foc, in care iepurasul imi arata codita..nu ma vede...vede el ceva in iarba, poate cauta niste oua ;)

Then I found an fabric Easter egg, cute and sweet, in which the bunny shows me the tail...he didn't see me, is looking for some eggs in the grass...

O cornita atit de vesela incit deja am planificat-o pentru pomul de pasti alaturi de oua si de puii de gaina.;)

Ieri am lucrat putin in tehnica broderiei cu bobina si am facut aceste posetute din fetru, cu fermoar asortat si cu tnt alb in interior.

Imi place foaaaarte mult aceasta tehnica asa incit veti vedea mai multe lucrari de acest gen aici ;)

Aceastea sunt doar primele, va trebui sa le brodez mult mai mult pe urmatoarele...

Yesterday I worked on some bobin-work embroidery making these pouches, in felt with assorted zippers and inside white tnt :

I looove this technique so you'll see more works here ;) These are just the first try, I must embroider much-much more on them...

Am reusit totodata sa pun primul meu video pe youtube , partial cu fluturasul negru ( nu uitati sa il vedeti in HQ, aveti un buton micut dedesubtul ecranului) :

the 1st of March... for my love

Cum era un UFO ( obiect neterminat) prin atelierul meu ( si nu-i statea bine deloc in stadiul acela) am terminat o inimioara movulie pentru dragostea mea...pe post de martisor! A fost impresionat...mai ales ca nu am folosit "tzintzele" ( margele, in termen popular de-al locului). degeaba i-am explicat eu ca tocmai "tzintzelele" dau farmec ...deh, optica masculina!;0)

As I had an UFO ( UnFinished Object) in my sewing-room ( and wasn't pretty at all in that stade) I did finished a mauve crazy-heart, for my love...as a Martzichor! He was quite impressed...above all because I didn't use "tzintzele" ( beads, in a very local-popular way of speaking). Anywise I did explain that the beads give the charm for a crazy heart, wasn't good enough....well...male point of wiew! ;)

edit in 2015 : this heart is still here, in my studio, hanging on my soft work-board... this means I do love it deeply ! I remember several people asking it as a gift... it is still here with me.:D . After 8 years is looking as good and nice as in her first day of life. Question : does it mean that, somewhere deeply in my heart, crazy quilting is a favourite ? :)
