sorry, no hat today :)

Scuze , dar azi nu pot arata nici o palarie....din cauza curcanului acesta URIAS : 

Sorry, but today I can't show you any hat....because of this GIANT TURKEY : 

am incercat sa-l pozez pe post de palarie, dar a fost mult prea greu ;).

 Azi am facut un drum la tara , la soacra-mea, de unde am adus un curcan IMENS,  100% organic . Adica crescut ca la tara, cu graunte si tot ce i-a mai oferit natura in plimbarile lui prin livada ( iarba, gize, furnici , aer curat ) . Si se pare ca i-a cam priit rasfatul....

I do try to put it as a hat , but it was way too heavy ;)...

Today I made a trip at my mother-in-law, on the country-side,  from where I came back with this huge 100% organic turkey. I mean a country-life raised turkey, with graines and everything that nature spoiled him during his wanderings through the orchard ( grass, ants, bugs, fresh air). It seems that such a good life let a big print on this beauty.

cam asa arata in prepararea pentru congelator :

si ca sa fie proba completa, am pus o "pulpita " la tava, exact cum am invatat de la Jamie ;).

and to do a full test job I put a "small leg"  in a pan just like Jamie teach me ;)

si am pus-o , acoperita cu folie de aluminiu ca sa se patrunda mai bine cu aburii vinului alb, in cuptor la foc de lemne ...alta savoare....cu totul alt gust decit curcanii pregatiti in cuptorul obisnuit pe gaz....

and I put it to bake/roast in my wood-stove oven.....covered with tin-foil for that white wine to set in the meat better....a great taste....a completely different taste then the turkeys roasted in the regular oven on gas....

si ha-ha ! ...m-am gindit mult prea mult la palarii si am descoperit cu mare haz ca am uitat sa fac poze cind am scos pulpa rumena de la cuptor....doar pe aceasta  :   :)))

and ha-ha !...I was thinking too much at hats and discover at the end that I didn't take pictures with it, roasted ,when I popped it out the oven....just this :    :)))
