I'm gonna play, baby !

I'm gonna play, baby ! Last week I attempt to my VISA card and make some shopping :P. 

What did I shop for ? 

well, don't dream... there ain't no clothes, no bags, no shoes , nothing like this. 

There are these ( much more precious for me :D ) : 

well , for better understanding here you have some embossing powders - clear, green and red, and a black Stazon inkpad with refill. I just can't wait to play with those powders.... it will be a mess ! :D oh, such a mess !

and these water-pencils for colouring times.... lately, I really feel the need of them. I looove coloring digi-stamps. And I learn some new tricks for these water-pencils on the internet... such a good thing this internet, agree ? ;)

And now, let me show you some Valentine cards... I have so many ideeas, so less paper and not a trimmer at least. I still work with my patchwork cutter on the cutting mat. But ...I like it even so .

I love making this 3D paper "flower".... 

 Then I remembered ( from some age , remembering is a good thing :P ) having some metal sheets somewhere between my scrap papers... I take a Fiskars embossing plate and I throw away that Fiskars original embossing tool ( it's not good at all especially on metal, arghh! ) and first I push the sheet down with the brayer and then I hand-embossed line after line with a CrafterCompanion embossing pencil. Nice and clean. 

wow ! I must repeat this with some other metal coloured sheets. I've got so many ideeas !

                                             

I used part of the template - the border - in this card. Oh, how I would like to have some alcohol inks and play more on that surface... but , nope ! none. Zero.  

The angel is punched out of cardstock and set on foam pads, the central metal heart is a jewelry pendant ... the rest of it is just scrapbooking. You know this better than me. ;) 

Tomorrow is another day, another thing. Curious about it ?
... go to sleep now and dream nice. I said tomorrow ;)

last days of january ? :D

If the previous post was entitled "first days of January" it seems to me quite appropriate to name this post "last days of January" LOL ... just because I find so less time to blog and is almost the end of January.

My mornings start like this : 

followed by house chores - not desirable to show in pictures LOL, 

Then a little time for this and that  - in this case mending a ripped binding on a shabby-chic bath mat ( more shabby than chic :P ) ( I love doing this kind of stuff. You might laugh, but I remember all my childhood mending various clothes of mine or of my familiy... then was born my love for needle and thread ;) ) 

 A little scrapbooking time each day , just for the peace of soul and the smile on my face ...should I recognise publicly that is more than ''little time'' ? :D

mea culpa ;)

 The day passes by with a blossom born in the middle of winter 

and a little shopping which means transforming a Christmas coupon gift in some great products ( thank you, Arabella ! ) . Yay ! stamps again :D

and then a special dinner with meat. Red meat . Special because we seldom eat meat . 

Yep, and this is not a pork ribb, it's a lamb one. 

Home made pickles, home-made vegetable sauce, mashed potatoes ( homemade, how else ? :D ) ..

                 

well, let's see what tomorrow brings ;). 

Just wait ... I bet it will be something good. :)

Cind prietena mea mi-a spus ca imi va trimite mai repede cadoul de ziua mea, am intrebat-o rizind : "-ce e ? "
"- 90 grame " mi-a raspuns....
De cind am cunoscut-o pe Csilla m-a rasfatat an dupa an cu surprize ...de ziua mea, de Craciun , de Paste...asa un suflet mare. Ei bine, dati-mi voie sa va prezint cele 90 grame :D...

When my friend told me that she will send sooner my birthday present I asked her laughing "- what is it ? "

- " 90 grams ", she answered....

I know that since I met her for the first time she spoiled me year after year....birthdays, Christmases, Easters....such a big heart . 

Well, let me introduce you the 90 grams thing  :D...

Well, I did spoil a little too, by myself....just because all my embroidery threads were hanging in some "invented by me " cardboards stacked on a wire hanger 

Am cumparat o cutie pentru depozitarea lor , marca Prym , precum si o forfecuta metalica Storch ....aveam mare nevoie de ea :D. 

Am o sumedenie de foarfeci, mari si mici, dar mi-am dorit-o nespus pe ACEASTA pentru tatting. ;).

I buyed an embroidery thread box - Prym - and a Storch scissor.....I just needed it :D....

I do have a LOT of scissors but I badly wanted THIS one. For tatting ;).

Acum stau in fata focului si imi aranjez bucuroasa atele in cutie....am doar o mica problema : nu incap toate intr-o singura cutie :)) 

Now I'm sitting in front of the fire and I'm arranging the threads in my new box. I have just a little problem : they don't fit all in just one :)) 

Si deasemenea astept sa se usuce piesa aceasta....cine a spus ca tatting-ul este usor ?? aici puteti numara aproximativ 280 de ace infipte ....
And I'm also waiting for this piece to dry ....who said that tatting is easy ? you can count here around 280 needles....

Vremea e tot rece si ploioasa...in ultima luna au fost in total 2 zile complete cu soare....in rest e tot asa : 

The weather is still awful....in the last month we have just 2 complete sunny days....rest of the time is just like this :

zilnic fac cite o plimbare prin gradina ...sufar alaturi de plantele incarcate de atita apa, grele , triste...si descopar ca , in ciuda frumusetii carcasei lor, nu pot sa-i sufar! da. melcii. Sunt cu miile in gradina, in iarba, peste tot....Mi-au mincat salatele, mazarea, capsunii, frunzele de ardei si culmea acum s-au dat si la busuioc...

 I take a daily walk through the garden...I suffer for my plants that are full of water, heavy and sad...and I discover that despite the beauty of their housing I just can't stand them! the snails! we've got thousands on garden beds, on grass, everywhere!!!! they eat my salads, peas, strawberries, peppers leves and like this is not enough, they are eating now the basil leaves....

in casa am inceput pregatirea primelor ciuperci de padure , pentru congelator....cine stie ce ne va mai aduce anul acesta ...atita ploaie si frig in luna iunie!

In the house the first forest mushrooms are being prepared for freezer...who knows what else will bring this year? so much rain and cold weather still in June...

La ultimul drum in orasul vecin am cumparat un set de clesti pentru bijuterii,  citeva dantelute de bumbac si benzi de saten....Toate devin din ce in ce mai scumpe....

At my last trip in the neighbour city I bought a set of plyers for making jewelries, some cotton laces and saten strips. All are being more and more expensive....

Inca sper ca vremea sa revina la normal , sa se incalzeasca si sa ne putem bucura macar de dudele de anul acesta....ciresele s-au dus fara sa reusim sa stringem macar o farfurie , merele sufera, capsunii sunt acri....ramin dudele...

I still hope that the weather come back to normal, to warm up and be able to take advantage at least of the mulberries...the cherries are gone ( we haven't enough even for filling a bowl ), the apples are suffering from cold and rain, the strawberries are sour and chopped by snails....all that rest are the mulberries...

Ceva trebuie sa se schimbe...

boring post today...

Am gasit un site cu seminte din Germania. Si mi-am comandat citeva pliculetze. Nu sunt super incintata de calitate- nici macar cum arata plicurile, dar sper ca semintele sa aiba putere buna de germinare.

Am luat cite un plic din fasole mov, ridichi de iarna, o salata "ciudata rau" de iarna, Ginko Biloba, seminte de rubarba ( pentru ca am pierdut planta in gradina veche - am ierbicidat ca toanta peste ea ) si Lathyrus albastru parfumat. Mi-am dat seama ca nu am flori albastre, roz sau mov in viitoarea gradina...doar galbene, rosii, portocalii si albe. Trista paleta, asa-i ?

I found a seed delivery site from Germany. And I ordered a few . I hope the seeds have a good germination power . I took some purple beans, winter radishes, a "freaky" winter salad, rhubarb seed ( because I lost my old plant...I put some Round-up on her without being attentive- and perfumed blue Lathyrus. I realized that I don't have any blue or pink or purple flowers in my future garden. ( only yellow, red, orange, white...sad, isn't ? )

Pe Ginko Biloba deja l-am semanat- toate 6 semintele ...are niste seminte mari si parfumate intzepator... astept sa scoata capsorul din pamint peste vreo 30 zile...

I already put in dirt all those 6 ginko seeds. They are big and spicy perfumed...I must wait some 30 days to appear the tiny seedlings.

Intre timp cresonul de la Smaranda s-a facut maricel si creste...tot creste...ce folos daca eu nu il pot minca...inca !

Meanwhile the cresson from Smaranda gets bigger and bigger ...what useful to, because I can't eat it ( yet)

Regimul meu alimentar este inca sub forma aceasta ( mic dejun / prinz) : gris cu lapte presarat cu scortisoara si zahar iar pentru prinz : piure de cartofi cu lapte si carne de vita cu legume pasate. Gustoase dar nu foarte prezentabile in imagine...evident ca incerc sa diversific de la o zi la alta...dar consistenta trebuie sa ramina aceeasi :( . Mi-ar prinde bine niste retete noi ;)....

My diet consist in soft things like these ( breakfast/lunch ): sweet breakfast :semolina milk with cinammon and sugar, and lunch : mashed potatoes in milk and mashed beef meat with vegetables. Yummy but not so good looking in pictures... of course I try to eat different things every day, but the consistency must remain the same :(...It would be so good some new recipes . ;)

prietenele stiu de ce ! ;) ha-ha... doar simbata mi se scot firele....ah, inca 5 zile !!!...

shoppings from holiday

Citeva cumparaturi din vacanta ...dupa cum stiti in ultimul timp nu am facut altceva decit am tricotat-tricotat-tricotat...si mincat ;)) ...deci cumparaturile reflecta preocuparea ;))

Some shoppings from holiday...as you know lately I was knitting and knitting and again knitting...socks :)) oh, yes, and EATING :))) so all my shoppings are reflecting those "preocupations" ;)))


Doua perechi de ace din bambus, speciale pt sosete, o croseta mare si niste lina pentru sosete...hmmm...deloc ieftina lina asta. Sper sa-mi iasa niste sosete " mirifice" din ea. LOL.
Si acum pentru partea de "mincat-mincat" ...cum alt hobby al meu estei gatitul mi-am completat biblioteca de carti de bucate cu inca doi "puisori" : unul austriac si unul german.( ambele in limba engleza) Si evident o unealta pentru facut spaetzle pentru ca imi plac mult de tot spaetzle-urile. Apropo : cartea de bucate germana ( sub indrumarea lui Dr. Oetker) este cu adevarat buna. O recomand. Deja a fost probata.

Some bamboo knitting needles ,a big crochet hook, some socks wool ...hmmm, not at all cheap this wool.Hope to get some mirific socks of it.LOL.
And now something for "eating" part...as my other hobby is cooking I do complete my cookbook library with two new babies : an austrian one and a german one( both in english). And of course a spaetzle tool...I LOVE spaetzels...
By the way the german book is really-really good. I recommend it ! already tried.
