a new and wonderfull friend

Rindurile despre aceasta intilnire apar foarte tirziu...dar uite ca apar si ma bucur atit de intilnire cit si de noua prietenie legata ;) .

Poveste scurta :

Intr-o dis de dimineata am plecat cu masina spre Satu-Mare, unde Csilla ma astepta impreuna cu micuta ei domnisoara Lilla , intr-un parc superb al orasului.

Am facut scurt cunostinta - chiar daca dupa atita corespondenta deja noi doua ne stiam prea bine - iar eu m-am indragostit brusc si iremediabil de micuta Lilla...o bijuterie de fetita...care, la inceput, s-a cam speriat de mine pentru ca eram imbracata toata in negru...dar in timp am reusit citeva poze frumoase....la locul de joaca al copiilor din parc, pe leagan si pe roata. O lume noua pentru mine...

Those lines appear very late...but here they are and I must admit that I'm quite happy with this meeting and with this new friendship that I have now. ;).

Short story :

One very early morning, I left to Satu Mare to met Csilla. She was waiting me in a superbe town park toghether with her very little lady Lilla.

We already knew each other - after such long correspondence - and suddenly and inexpected I felt in love with this little young lady named Lilla...such a jewelry...at the beggining she was quite afraid of me because I was dressed all in black...but in the end we make some nice photos at the childrens playground. Surprise : a new and unknown world for me...

oare la ce se gindeste atit de adinc ??

In parc ridem si ne distram....am cules scoarta de copac, frunze , ghinde...tot cu gindul la mixed-media....Csilla se distreaza de minune cum imi tot intra in pantofi nisipul din careul de joaca al copiilor ... ce v-am spus ? o lume noua pentru mine.... ;)

In the park we laugh and have good time...I pick up some wonderfull tree bark, leaves, seeds...having all the time just mixed-media in my thoughts. Csilla is laughing hard of me because I still get, at each step, sand from the playground in my shoes...what did I tell you ? a new and unknown world to me...;).

Apoi vremea a trecut ca prin farmec...acasa la Csilla , am uitat de poze, am uitat de ceas, am uitat de tristete...am povestit si povestit.... brusc ne dam seama ca nu am mai facut nici o poza..mie imi pare rau ca nu am facut poze cu casa ei frumoasa , cu gradina ei -este o frumusete...cu plantele ei - are o multime, cu noi mincind pe teresa inghetata de caise facuta chiar de ea...deh, voi stiti cum e cind se intilnesc doua pasionate ale lucrului de mina, nu ? ha-ha... dar data viitoare voi face mult mai multe, promit ! ;)

Cu citeva minute inainte de plecare ne-am pozat reciproc...eu pe ea cu calculatorul -la care stie sa faca o multime de minuni :) iar ea pe mine cu masina ei de cusut cu care in viitor bineinteles ca va face alte minuni ;).

Then the time fly away so quickly...as magic...at Csilla's home I forgot to take pictures, I forgot about the time, I forgot about sadness....we just talk and talk and talk again...suddenly we realize that we haven't any picture toghether...I'm sorry that I didn't photo her beautifull home, her wonderfull garden, her inside plants - she has a lot of them - , a picture of us eating home-made by Csilla apricot ice-cream...well, you know how it is when two alike met ? LOL. next time I will take much more photos, I promise....

A few minutes before I leave, I take a picture of her in front of her computer - she is such a genius in computers - and then she made me a picture with her sewing machine with which she will made other beauties in the future. ;)

Am aparut in viata ei cind avea 31 ani...o virsta minunata. Pe atunci era o tinara frumoasa, plina de viata si de fericire.

I stepped into her life when she was 31 years old....a wonderfull age. Those days she was a beautifull young female, full of life and joy.

Anii au trecut, eu am crescut si ea a devenit din ce in ce mai exigenta cu mine...eram oricum prima fata, deci aveam un "statut" aparte, trebuia sa invat tot ceea ce trebuie sa stie o gospodina. In principal lucrul de mina....pe atunci nu stiam insa sa apreciez acest lucru. Acum stiu.

Years passed by, I grow up and she became more and more exigent with me...anyway I was her first baby-girl and I had a special "status", beeing obliged to learn everything that a woman should know. In first line meaning hand-work...still, then I didn't know to appreciate those lessons. Now I do .

Apoi anii au trecut si mai multi... boala a aparut tiptil, schimbarile au fost majore ...In ciuda bolii si a tot ce a fost rau , urit si rece, voi pastra pentru totdeauna o amintire draga : mama mea draga, frumoasa ca in poza urmatoare.

Years passed by, one after another, many in rows... illness appear quietly, changes were bigger and faster. Despite illness and despite all that was bad, ugly and cold, I will keep forever a precious memory : my dear, beautifull mother like in the next photo.

Adio, mama....

Orele au trecut atit de repede si placut...baie de soare in liniste, cintec de pasari, adiere de vint, cer azuriu si mult-mult verde....

The hours passed so quickly and pleasantly.....sun bath taked in quiet surroundings, birds chirpings, easy pale winds, blue-blue sky and green, a lot of green...

In gradina primele rosii sunt inca verzi ....de ciuda...ha-ha... Prea putine totusi...pentru anul viitor deja mi-am invatat lectia, stiu unde am gresit si stiu ce am de facut cu prioritate.

In the garden the first tomatoes are still green...envy green. LOL. Too few...for the next year I learn another important lesson, I know what I have to do in first place....

Evident ca si azi mi-am gasit pacea interioara cosind hexagon dupa hexagon...6-6-6-6-...ce numar interesant, asa-i ??

Obviously that even here and today I take my hexagons with me, fullfilling my inner peace sewing hex after hex...6-6-6-6-...interesting number, isnt' it ?

A new friend

She is a big heart, a generous and warm soul. One persone that I surely do want to meet her in person someday in the future.

Annie si Laetitia sunt noile stapine ale quiltului Trandafiri de Argint. Iar eu sunt incintata ca,- prin ei - am reusit sa o cunosc pe Annie.

Buna, Annie - Buna Laetitia ! ;)

Annie and Laetitia are now the new owners of my quilt Frozen Roses.

Inainte de toate imagini cu trandafirii mei preferati...chiar daca nu sunt parfumati si nici de soi nobil, imi umplu inima de bucurie si i-as lua in brate de fiecare data cind trec pe linga ei ca pe o ploaie catifelata, roz...noroc ca au spini !

First of all some pictures with my beloved roses...even that they are not perfumed nor noble they fill my heart with joy and hapiness each time I pass near by...and each time I tend to embrace them as I could embrace a pink, soft, fresh rain...luckily they have thorns!

Apoi, azi am primit plicul cu ATC-ul de la Sylvie . Tineti minte ATC-ul meu trimis in schimb ??

De fapt am primit 2 ATC-uri !! asta inseamna ca trebuie sa ma pun pe treaba pentru a echivala schimbul...pai, cum altfel ??

Today I received the swap ATC from Sylvie. Do you remember the one that I send her ?

Actually I received 2 ATCs!! this means I have to put myself at work to compensate this swap. Well, no ?

Aici sunt : Essui-tout No. 2 si No. 14/24. Primul m-a pus pe ginduri....si pe fapte....

Here they are : "Essui-tout No.2" and "No.12/24". The first one was so intriguing that set me on work....

Si asa cum v-am spus, primul m-a pus pe fapte...

Titlul : "O lume viitoare deja pierduta "

Tehnica : mixed-media. Pe o baza de catifea alba am aplicat un strat de material poliacrilat apoi unul de...celofan!!! Am quiltuit in metoda bobin-work ( sau cu susu-n jos) cu ata de matase si pe urma cu ata metalica . Apoi am zapp-uit putin cu pistolul de aer cald ca sa se topeasca celofanul si sa apara bule si gauri ....pe urma am pus letconul la treaba : am topit pe ici pe colo, am tras linii si puncte.

Putina vopsea acrilica metalizata turquoise, citeva fire de metal spiralate pe o andrea, o bucatica de lemn, o mina si un soare taiat cu perforatorul si "kitsch"-uit cu putin lipici cu sclipici...marginile le-am ars cu luminarea.

Povestea din spate : intr-o lume de plastic, in care mina omului nu lasa in urma decit deseuri si distrugere chiar si soarele ne incalzeste artificial.... o lume viitoare deja pierduta...ce ne asteapta in zare, oare ??

And as I told you, the first ATC from Sylvie put me on some work :

Title : A future world already lost.

Technique : mixed-media. On a white velvet base I put a layer of acrilic fabric and then I layered some ... cellophane!!! I quilted -bobin-work - with some silk thread then some metallic ones. I zapped it with the heat-gun so that the cello melted and let instead a surface of holes and bumps ...then I put my hot-iron at work : melting here and there, set some lines, make some holes. A little turquise acrilic paint, some coloured wires coiled quickly on a knitting needle, a piece of real wood from my garden, a paper hand and sun punched and "kitsch"-ed with some golden glitter glue. The margins were candle-burned.

The story behind : ...in a plastic world where man leave behind only destruction and pollution drops even the sun warms us in a artificially way...a future world already lost ...what expects us ahead ??

Oups! I'm in trouble...

Oups! probleme...mari probleme....mi s-au terminat toate patratzelele :(...si sunt de-abia aproape -aproape de jumatate din 999 piese...

Oups! I'm in trouble....big trouble...I finished all those 2" charms squares :(..and I'm just about in the middle of those 999 pieces...

Aici sunt doar 426 bucati...fiecare piesa este unica, fara repetitii...

Here they are 426 pieces....each of them is unique, with no repetitions...

Si dupa cum vedeti am fost nevoita sa schimb cutia...erau prea inghesuite in cutiuta de la batistutze...

Apoi am invatat , din mers, ca e extrem de folositor sa le asez pe culori/nuante pentru a putea verifica dintr-un pas foarte rapid si sigur ( !! ) daca materialul se repeta sau nu....Pentru a avea un charm quilt autentic este obligatoriu ca materialul din piese sa nu se repete nici macar o data!

....acum mi-e oarecum ciuda, pentru ca am senzatia ca odata scapate din mina - pina voi taia alte patrate din rezerva de materiale-, va trece un timp si ..."ochii care nu se vad se uita"! stiti voi cum e....:(

And I was forced to change that tissue-paper box with another from Ferrero chocolates...they were much too crumpled inside!

Then, I learned along sewing, that is extremely usefull to put the pieces grouped on the colour/nuance...so I can check quite quickly and accurate if the fabric is repeating or not. To have a real charm quilt it is neccesary that each piece is unique in the quilt.

Now I'm just a little bit worried because untill I will cut all those remaining squares , some time will pass and you know : there is no love from distance....

Afara ploua aproape ne-intrerupt....de 4 zile aceeasi situatie...ah, cita tristete....trebuie sa ma apuc de taiat alte patratzele...altfel...voi asculta ploaia in toata tristetea ei...

Outside is raining like continuous ...for the last 4 days the same weather...ah, so sad....I must put myself at cutting some squares...unless....I'll listen the rain and became blue....more blue...

Visind la jucarii noi : 

Sick girl dreaming of new toys....

Mda...sunt gripata...cam de o saptamina...si pe linga gripa asta nesuferita m-a mai apucat o manie : a hexagoanelor.

Totul a inceput de la Lili, apoi a aparut cu un blog nou si citeva lucrari noi Ortansa iar la final Ela a decretat : facem schimb de patrate pentru realizarea unui Charm Quilt. Deci : ce mai incoace si-ncolo, m-a lovit si pe mine dragostea de hexagoane. :)))

Mi-am pregatit pagini printate de diferite dimensiuni...evident ca am inceput cu 2,5cm...si am ajuns la 1,8cm. ha!

Yep...I'm with flue for some time -like a week....and beside this nasty flue I've got another bug : hexagone love. :)

Everything started from Lili, then appear with some new works and a new blog Ortansa and in final Ela made a statement : we must swap squares for making Charm Quilts.  So, I've been hit by the hexagone love :)))

I've prepared a lot of printed grid hexagones papers with various dimensions...obviously I started from 2,5cm and ended with 1,8cm !  Ha !

Aseara, in pat, am taiat aproape 400 bucati din cele de 2,5 cm, pentru ca azi dimineata sa-mi dau seama ca de fapt imi plac mult mai mult cele de 1,8 cm. Ce sa fac, dragostea e dragoste, nu ? ;) am printat alte pagini....LOL. Si uite cam asa arata, doar citeva cusute gata : 

Last night in bed I cut almost 400 of 2,5 cm but this morning I realized that I like much better the 1,8 cm size. What can I make, love is love, ain't it ?;)  gone print some others...LOL. And here they are, just a few ready sewn :

 

Ei bine, am realizat ca am o cutie "interesanta" , foarte la indemina pentru munca cu ele... integral reciclata!

traiasca marca Zewa!! pai, ceva trebuia sa fac cu cutiile goale de la batistutzele folosite in ultima saptamina, nu ? ;) 

Well, I realized that I have quite an interesting box for handy working and storing them...recicled! Live long the Zewa !! well, something I've got to do with those empty tissue boxes used in the last week, no ? ;)

Si ca tot mentionam jucarii noi, azi cosind hexagon dupa hexagon mi-am dat seama cit de folositor mi-ar fi un asemenea taietor de ata : varianta inel sau varianta pandantiv. Cred ca voi trece pandantivul pe lista de dorinte...care se face pe zi ce trece tot mai lunga.LOL.

And speaking of new toys...while I was sewing today, hex after hex, I realized how usefull would be for me one of these two thread cutter : the ring or the pendant. I think that I will put the pendant on my whish list....list that I see growing longer and longer day by day...LOL.

 

Dar pina una-alta, cos , visez si imi configurez viitorul meu charm-quilt...Smaranda asteapta cam de mult sa ma apuc de el :)). 

But untill then, I sew and dream and configure my future Charm Quilt. Smaranda is waiting for some time that I start my own Charm Quilt.:))

Ciresul nostru ...plin de fructe mari, dulci-zemoase, negre-visinii...Un pom ca din poveste...

E o munca grea si riscanta sa culegi cirese dintr-un pom atit de inalt...dar el se simte bine...ca in copilarie, tzopaie de pe o creanga pe alta...iar mie imi sta inima-n loc la fiecare tzopaiala de-a lui. Uite cit de fericit poate fi : 

It's a hard and risky work to pick cherries from such a tall tree....but he'a all ok...as in his childhood, he's jumping happy from a branch to another...and I feel that my heart is stopping at each of his jumps...look how happy he can be : 

Si uite ce munca ma asteapta pe mine, apoi....ciresele se pun la congelator. Nu pregatim gemuri si dulceturi pentru iarna, preferam sa punem fructele la congelator. Apoi, iarna, cind vine pofta de ceva "dulce", e atit de usor sa le scot din congelator si sa le pun in prajitura, sau sa le fac sos fierbinte pe inghetata...e mult mai natural..

And look how much work is waiting for me ...I put the cherries in the freezer. I dont't make gems for the winter, I prefer to put the fruits straight in the freezer. And then , in the winter, when I crave for something sweet and natural, too, is it so easy to take a portion out and put them into a cake or make a hot sirup over the ice-cream...more natural feeding in our lives...
